Kate founded Chat Speech in 2020 to bring specialty care to the capital region. She is a NY licensed and nationally certified Speech Language Pathologist. Kate also holds Qualified Orofacial Myologist (QOM) certification. In addition to countless hours of continuing education, she has completed TOTS training as well as the Infant Lingual Frenum Protocol training. She specializes in treating Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMDs) across the lifespan, addressing speech, feeding and breathing/sleep disorders through a functional, holistic approach.

Lauren joined Chat Speech in May of 2023. She works with each patient/family to get them started with an evaluation. She handles everything from scheduling to helping with the complexities of insurance plans. Lauren grew up in the area and is a proud mom of 7. She enjoys spending time with her husband, children and taking advantage of the beautiful nature in the 518 area. Lauren looks forward to working with you and your family.

Elizabeth Briggs joined Chat Speech in April of 2024. “Liz” is a NY licensed and nationally certified Speech Language Pathologist. Liz also holds Qualified Orofacial Myologist (QOM) certification.. Liz treats infants, children and adults. Outside of work, Liz enjoys getting some fresh air while hiking with her golden retriever, Cheerio, and finding a good chai latte.

Brianna Nassar joined Chat Speech in April 2025. “Bri” is a NY licensed and nationally certified Speech Language Pathologist. She is certified in Tongue Tips and Tiny Tongue Myofunctional Therapy Programs. Bri treats infants, children and adults.

Emma joined us in 2025. Emma is a NY licensed and nationally certified Speech Language Pathologist. She is certified in Tongue Tips and Tiny Tongue Myofunctional Therapy Programs. Emma treats infants, children and adults.
